about

Sam Kaplan is a British experimental musician. His obscure works, based on the affection of the unconscious mind, mix noise and music into almost ambiental passages that try to alter the perception of sound. This work, "Interchange", is an step further into deconstructing his sounds into singular elements, as a surgeon slowly opening his way into the sonic marrow.

According to Kaplan, "the idea behind this album is that the first half focusses on the three fundamental elements of music - harmony, noise and rhythm - and in the second half, all three are united." SAVANT is proud to present a important document by one of the record series' most unique talents, Sam Kaplan.
