We introduce the re-release of Super Flat's 2010 sampled epic, "Our New Ruler, the Emperor!"

Born out of 90's Portuguese television and bad videogame voice-acting, Our New Ruler, the Emperor! was created by one Guilherme B., under the guise of Super Flat. A "sort of" conceptual album about someone or something meeting The Emperor, it takes cues from sound collage, hip-hop, anime, and grim satire to create a soundscape reflecting the world of today as viewed by someone who lives and breathes through media and many passions.

Super Flat is Guilherme B., from Lisbon, Portugal. Influenced by the avant-garde and the conventional and possessing an ecletic artistic disposition, he seeks to convert his abstract view of the world of today into something tangible and probably edible if you are into coprophagy.
